Education
Our mission at the African American Civil War Museum is to preserve and share the history and stories of the United States Colored Troops and the many African Americans who served in the Civil War. Our education programs allow students to explore the causes and consequences of the Civil War, the formation of the United States Colored Troops and the path to equality and justice for Americans of African descent in the United States.
