First Saturday Descendants' Day presentations in the AACWM Auditorium @11am, 1pm and 2pm. Explore the story of African Americans in the Civil War through the eyes of their descendants as they share about their ancestor and research process. Presentations will be on Israel Crump Sr. of the 1st USCT at 11 am, Shepard Tyler and Richard Tyler of the 28th USCT, and Thomas Bell of the 37th USCT. This is a free event.June 7
Story Hour in the AACWM Auditorium @11am. Story Hour engages our youngest visitors by using traditional and contemporary stories about the Civil War and Civil Rights movement. This is a free event

The City Singer's Children's Choir of Richmond Virginia will be preforming at the African American Civil War Museum at 4pm. The City Singer's Children's Choir brings together youth from the greater Richmond area in a joyful appreciation of ethnic, religious and cultural diversity through music.
