The Museum's accessible entrance is through the gates. The entrance doors open automatically when activated by pressing the button adjacent to the door.

The Museum has convenient elevators right inside that entrance. The Museum also has one manual wheelchair guest may use free of charge on a first come first serve basis.

The Museum does not have dedicated parking for visitors.

The Museum offers the use of noise reduction headphones, available at the information desk.

Buses may drop off passengers in front of the Memorial or Museum along Vermont Avenue. However, the bus cannot stay or be idle in front of the Museum during the visit.

Service animals are welcome in the Museum. As defined by the ADA, a service animal is any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained, or untrained, are not allowed into the Museum as they are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.
